When & How are Commissions paid to KSI Advisors?

When you joined KSI, you were given information about how and when we pay commissions as well as how fees are charged to customer accounts. As follows is a further overview of the process:

KSI offers a twice per month commission cycle for ALL commissions. This includes both brokerage and non-brokerage business. The new schedule is as follows: Commissions received between the 1st and 15th will be paid 4 business days after the 15th of the month. Commissions received between the 16th and the last day of the month will be paid 4 business days after the last business day of the month.

Commissions are paid via Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT). All KSI Reps are required to fill out an EFT Form upon joining KSI.

NOTE: All 1031 transactions have a grid payout of 75%.

All commission related questions should be directed to Paul Wackes via e-mail at pwackes@kfn.com

Advances on Commissions

We understand that there may be times when you may need funds in advance to help operate your business. Although it is generally against our policy to provide advances because it impacts our SEC required firm net capital, we may be able to help out. If for whatever reason you do need an advance on commissions, then we will do our best to help you on a case-by-case basis.
